Make Money Online Using Other People's Websites! Make Money Online Using Other People's Websites!

Firstly, I recommend that you have your own website in order to make money online and promote your affiliate programs, but if you are new to Internet Marketing and just want to get going, it is still possible for anyone to earn money and make affiliate commissions without having your own website. As an affiliate marketer, you earn commissions on every sale that you initiate, and all that you have to do,is drive traffic to, or direct visitors to the merchant's website.

This kind of Internet Marketing is quite appealing to people who want to start making money online quickly. The bonuses are, you don't have to have your own product, and you don't need to worry about payments, refunds or product handling. Once you decide that you want to start making some money online with affiliate programs, all you do is sign up with an affiliate marketing network or program and choose the products you want to promote, start promoting and start making dollars!

It is so easy to join an affiliate program, just go to Clickbank.com or Paydotcom.com and read up on what they have to offer, sign up and choose your products!

So, how can you start marketing these affiliate programs if you do not have your own website? Well, there a quite a few ways to accomplish this - here are a few to consider.......

1. You can use Pay Per Click (PPC) advertising to drive traffic to the merchant's website using your affiliate link. When people that you have sent to the merchant page actually buy, you get a cut. (Especially in business opportunity related target words, this can cost a small fortune so go for freebie advertising until you learn about PPC advertising)!) I would always advise getting your feet wet in free advertising first. Here are some thoughts.............

2. Find yourself some relevant forums or message boards to participate in, then put your affiliate links in your profile or signature. Every post will come up with your affiliate link (in the signature) and people reading your post will then have a chance to click. When these people (your personally generated traffic) buy at the merchant's website, through your link, you're making the money!

Commissions can be as high as 90%! Wow!

3. Write and submit articles and put your affiliate link in the resource box or author bio that goes at the end of the article. If people enjoy reading your quality and informative article, there is a high chance they will then click through on your links. Merchant sales pages are usually very well written and convert well. Just make sure that you match the article with the product - there is no use writing about Dogs and then trying to sell handbags!

Relevancy is of key Importance!

4. You may want to write reviews or articles and then post them everywhere, including on other related websites. Lots of webmasters will accept product reviews if the products are relevant to their particular niche or helpful to their visitors. At the end of your well written and not too obviously biased product review, include your affiliate links. Again, people appreciate well written, quality articles and more traffic will end up at the merchant website through your link.

Provide quality information and mask your bias!

5. Start a blog. Setting up a blog is simpler and quicker than setting up your own website so you might want to try it! The cost is ZERO because you can get a free blog at Blogger.com in just 3 or 4 clicks and start publishing your posts straight away. Make sure your posts are somehow related to the products that you are trying to promote and add your affiliate links. This is a very effective way of promoting your affiliate products and driving traffic to sales and promotion pages.

So, there you go, you can make money online with this sort of marketing even if you don't have your very own site. This is a really good way to get a feel for Internet Business in general! In fact, you can start to promote your affiliate products as described above and make good money online without a website, however, as time goes by, you will come to realize that having your own site is probably better!

People Getting Rich Online - Niche Research

How's that list coming along? You will recall in the first part of this series I covered getting a list together of ideas for your site or blog niche. Hopefully you have a good sized list of general categories. The next steps involve narrowing the keywords and then doing some supply and demand research. There are many keyword tools out there. I like to use Overture's because it's free and easy. Keep in mind that the numbers from Overture are usually inflated — sometimes a little sometimes a lot. They fudge the numbers by counting like queries — fly and flies or affiliate and affiliates get counted as the same query. Remember — they make more money convincing their prospective advertisers that a search term is popular. So plug in one of the general search terms from your list. I'm going to try dogs.
